Design of a core app shell & foundation for a global retailer, for future instances of application releases where all ‘bundles’ or service packages would be consolidated into one singular app.
One of the main deliverables from an experience design perspective of the project was to create a navigation structure that would be viable for all instances of future applications, Including a single instance of just one bundle being available in the app, as well as instances with all bundles available.
A bundle is a reference to a service package, such as ‘click and collect’ as an example. The navigation had to be user-centric and easily navigable in any circumstance.
After designing the navigation structure, I created low resolution wire frames that were then developed further by the dedicated international UX/UI team using the design system components, co-ordinating with the user researcher assigned to the product for testing via userlytics.
See some examples of the artefacts and documentation in the images – note that some sensitive information has been omitted for display purposes.
Another part of the project was to design the onboarding journey for the customer, to work with all instances of bundles within the application, ensuring all relevant information could be collected to enable all current and future services to function. The deliverables included wireframes & customer journey documents – See below
